EOS Movies on Panasonic Viera HDTV
So how do you get those movies you have taken on your EOS to play from an SD card on your Panasonic Viera HD TV?
Tried to find a free way, but to no avail, so purchased Nero Multimedia Suite 10 from CostCo ............................. and hey presto it works. It creates an SD with the correct filesystem in place. You may need to read the manual ... but the following worked for me.
• Launch Nero Vision 10
• Make AVCHD -- SD Card
• Import - Import Files - MVI_xxxx.MOV (select all those required)
• Wait while it adds ....
• Next
• Choose background (or leave as is)
• Next
• Next
• Write to SD Card and Choose the Drive associated with the SD card (use a freshly formatted SD)
• Write
• Wait while it does just that ... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
• Save the log and project if you wish.
