    Stourhead HDR pano

We went to Stourhead today and I decided to try an HDR pano across the lake using the in camera HDR function. This is 8 frames in portrait orientation and took about 3 minutes to shoot as between each frame you had to wait while the camera software processed the HDR - quite difficult to keep the camera in the right position

Anyway here it is, shot at f13, ISO 400 with my 17-85 @ 17mm

    Re: Stourhead HDR pano

interesting exercise but did it need HDR ?

the LHS seems a bit washed out ? is that low clouds ?

Either way, nice shot ....but I'm really hoping you walked over to that stone bridge

Lovely scene and well stitched. I think that it maybe a wee bit too HDRish but I have little experience of panos or HDR so please take my comment with a pinch of salt.

            Re: Stourhead HDR pano

            Cheers guys.

Did it need HDR - the answer is yes - the whole attraction of Stourhead at this time of the year is the intense colours as the foliage begins to change. As an alternative I processed the middle exposure raw files via photoshop and the whole thing looked flat and the sky was a bit washed out - another reason for the HDR.

I have some pictures of the bridge but it is not one you are able to walk across
