    Waterfall

    Hi,
Stuck inside with a horrible cold - so decided to convert some old colour pics to black & white.
At the time I was very taken by this large waterfall but decided to try a different take on it.
Instead of trying to capture the full waterfall I concentrated on the way dribbling water was splashing on some small rocks with only a part of the main curtain as a backdrop. It was a very sunny cloudless sky sort of day - so to add contrast the picture was shot into the light.
I guess it won't be most peoples 'cup of tea'

Thanks -it looks quite nice in square format, printed, mounted in white and in a black frame. If you like black and what landscapes have a look at www.marmmccoll.co.uk - his colour work is also pretty amazing
