    DPP and IPTC data

Canon's Digital Photo Professional (DPP) software provides a good range of EXIF data about the images you shoot with your EOS camera. It also offers a metadata section for IPTC data. However, this is generally blank and cannot be edited.

Has anyone come across free or inexpensive software which will add IPTC data to a RAW image with the data showing when this RAW image is viewed in DPP? The data also needs to move with the image when it is converted to a TIFF or JPEG file. My research so far has drawn a blank.

Yes, you can add the data in Photoshop and some other commercial programs, but these are not really viable solutions for free software such as DPP.

Please do not recommend moving away from DPP. I'm looking for a solution which works with DPP.

Will this do the trick (it seems it used to be a paid-for program, but now it is free)
