    An interesting image and a nice practice in using your aperture and shutter speed settings, however the image is not my cup of tea.

      I like what you've tried to do, but maybe if the flame had been a more "traditional" shape it would have worked better.

        It looks like you blew the flame rather than waiting and taking a shot when the flame had settled - you would then have got a much smaller blown out area which is what spoilt the shot as it is
