high tide on dee estuary weds 10th feb 2016

its the first of the years high tide events on the dee estuary/ wirral this week .
anyone thats in range of the wirral and into wildlife photography should make the effort it can be spectacular if conditions are favourable ,which they are this week .
i will be a the old baths car park at park gate ,nr neston high tide Wednesday is 12-15 pm with a 10mtr or 32.6ft tide ,we currently have strong winds which will push the tide up and weds report is clear weather but low pressure dominating which fingers crossed should combine to a good one .
as the tide floods up to the sea wall all the mammals /birds etc on the marsh make for the land providing super views .
previous sitings include ,owls short eared, barn owls, kestrels ,peregrines ,merlins ,buzzards, marsh harriers and ring-tailed harriers, great white egrets and little egrets plus thousands of waders of all sorts .
mammals include, bank voles ,field mice ,harvest mice, rabbits ,hares ,foxes ,stoats ,weasels .
warm clothing and welly boots are essential after the recent rains and early arrival is advised due to parking restrictions

Some great work Jeff, maybe another year for me, a tad too far for a day trip.
