    Which CF Card?

    I have a 5DIII and use a Kingston 16GB 266x CF.

When I shoot fast moving objects and keep the shutter button down it takes a while for the card to catch up.

Can someone suggest another CF card I could get?, thank you.

    Re: Which CF Card?

    This site should help you

This is a part of our SD/CF/XQD Database. The data in the table below tracks the time (in seconds) it took to write 20 RAW and 20 Fine Large JPG to the memory card. Timing commenced when the camera’s card status light illuminated, and stopped when the light went out. Each test cycle was performed […]

There is nearly twice difference between best/worst.

You should also be aware that if you are saving to the SD at the same time this will impact write speed to the CF as well as best SD is 3 to 4 times slower than CF.

I use SanDisk Extreme PRO 64 GB 160 MB/s and have no problems when machine gunning stuff at 10 frames a second lol.

Another vote from me for the scandisk extreme pro card (160mb/s) - doesn't hit the buffer on a 1D mkiv :-)
I buy my cards from Amazon and they seem to be competitively priced

That 266x is the number to look at. The higher this number, the faster your card
Also agree with other's card choice. I only use Sandisk or Lexar cards.

Just brought the Lexar Professional CF 16GB 160MB/s 1066x.

              Wow!

It keeps up with my shutter happy finger now, no more lagging behind.
