    CSCC at Silverstone 2016

    Just a few I like from Silverfence - sorry Silverstone - at the weekend.
    Handheld with the old reliable race set up - 1DX, Canon 70-200 2.8 mkII with the Canon mkIII 1.4 extender.

    #1 1/250, f/8, iso 100, 115mm Tyre warmer


    #2 1/2000, f/4, iso 800, 250mm nothing like a bit of sleet / snow / rain to keep you on your toes


    #3 1/15, f/25, iso 100, 98mm looks good no matter what shutter speed you use


    #4 1/320, f/5.6, iso 100, 185mm terrific battle with the Green 'E' taking it to the flag


    #5 1/500, f/4.5, iso 800, 185mm love this, father watching father teaching son. Wish I had waited just a little longer so they were all closer together.


    #6 1/500, f/6.3, iso 100, 98mm Just for fun - one car, can you suss out the spin

    That's a good start to the season Dave. I see you didn't run out the big guns lens then? Must make it easier on your shoulder.

    Love the MK1 giving it loads and brilliantly panned too

            Well done David very nice set.
            Just hope the weather improves for you David as the last few post you've shown have not just had a little rain but enough for the whole of the year so lets hope the sunshines for you the rest of the racing season!

                Thanks guys, Paul - as you know it's all part n parcel of it, as the ole saying goes "there is no such thing as bad weather - just bad clothing"

                BUT - a whole dry weekend would be a lot less stressful lol.
