    now that I've seen the colour version I do prefer this - still think the tree needs some space which probably could be shorted in PS

      Agree with Ian this does look better in colour and the tree is a bit tight, have you thought about cloning some of the branches at the top which could give a bit more breathing space ...just a thought

        Nice shot Wayne - the flow of the water is captured really well. I can see what the others are saying about the tree.

          Cheers Guys. A bit of background; I was laying on a sand track across the stream to take the shot at 16mm short of swimming there was no more sky! I could add some and I agree it would be better for it but PS doesn't really float my boat. I might do it anyway though.

              Color works because the water doesn't get lost in the rocks. I still think if you do some dodging and burning you can improve the BW image
