Lovely image What was the exposure?

Sorry but I have to ask... is a Galactic Boatshed where they keep their starship?

    Cheers,
    John

      Thanks!

The exposure was 25 seconds at iso 3200. Not sure about the f, probably between 4-6. I used a Samyang 14mm with a 6d.

I'm going to be keeping a close eye on the boat shed just in case there is a starship!

Lovely image, Bruce, there is so much beauty in the night sky that I never get to see in London.

Thanks Alex. I grew up just outside North London. Only time I would see meteorites etc, was when in the west country. I'm guaranteed to see them pretty much everyday here. Always getting satellites or shooting stars ruining my pictures!

Great image, was that just one image or several stacked?

                Thanks.

The image is just one shot, with just a bit of adjustment in Lightroom and I warped it in PS to straighten the boat shed. Here is the original from camera Jpeg unedited.

Superb shot, I did this with my Stonehenge image too, showing the unprocessed shot and I think it is a fantastic idea, because it shows people that some images that you might easily dismiss out of hand ( not that your original is one, mine was) can turn out to be hiding something rather special inside it, and it encourages people who like me may have dismissed an image before to look again at their images and see what they can make of them.

Well done and I love it.
