Uploading to flickr

I am having difficulty in uploading images from my computer to flickr. Very often I get the prompt "timed out retry" and I "retry" and then find that the pink band moves 2/3rd of the way and then goes back slightly and then moves forward and then goes back again, and does not completely finish. This is the first time it has happened to me. Don't know whether other members have had similar problems or am I the only one?

This happens to me whenever I use Internet Explorer. ...now using Chrome and not had the problem since.

I use firefox and this was the first time I had this problem.
