    Dungeness Fishing Boat

This abandoned fishing boat was much less colourful than some so decided to do a mono conversion. Shot from a very low angle

Wonder if it's worth trying to lose the flare marks? The clouds and the angles are great but flare does intrude a bit...

I left that as I was thinking it was part of the cloud

            Nice conversion, looks good.
It's a great location, I'm hoping to get back there sometime in the next month or so.

A location I'm desperate to get to.

For me the boat is too central though, did you shot some from the side?

well worth the effort and you wont be disappointed

I do have other angles but it is not a particularly interesting boat being just plain wood with no colour so this one was shot head on with a mind to process it mono. As with most photography subjects be they cars, boats bikes or wildlife, if the subject is looking or facing straight ahead then a central composition always works best but I think if entered in a competition the judge may look for a tighter crop
