excellent work - I've taken these myself and I can never make my mind up, go wide and get all the kite but no detail or close in, I think you made the right cal:- Ian
5D Mk III, 24-105 / 70-200 f2.8 L / 100-400 Mk II / 100 macro / 16-35 L / 11-24 L / 1.4 & 2x converters and a bad back carrying it all ;o)

He wasn't there long and luckily he was moving mostly parallel to the shoreline, the old D30 doesn't follow focus too well on fast moving subjects...
