Thanks Ian - only if I point the camera out the window, inwards would be too scary

nice sky John, have you tried lifting the shadows to bring some detail to the foreground

Thanks Stan I did but thought it distracting and preferred it as a silhouette but, as always, it's good to have alternative opinion.

Very well captured John. Like the Star effect with the setting sun.

Lovely John. Think I would crop away some of the dark black foreground but not too much

That is really nice - I prefer the contrast with the dark foreground, but I would also be tempted to lose a little of it (not a lot!)

Worth getting up for I would say, agree, maybe lose a little of the foreground but I wouldn't life the shadows, adds to the feel if it.

Don't lift the shadows! This was very early in the morning and that is what the light gives us! Perfect composition!

Not quite sure what this fetish for lifting the shadows is all about. It seems to be cropping up everywhere...

                      Thanks folks

Again, I did consider losing some of the foreground but it brought the starbusrt too far away from the third and I thought upset the composition. Good to have opinion such as this, though.

                      Cheers,
                      John
