    Scotsman in the Tyne Valley

    Once again the Scotsman was steaming through the Tyne Valley Yesterday in the Evening Sun on 'The Waverley'

    Well captured Gordon the second looks a tad brighter than the first did you change settings or your processing

      tried a different setting in Silver Efex Pro 2 Peter .
      Canon Eos 5D Mark IV + EF 16-35 L MkII + Tamron 24-70 DI VC USD G2 + Sigma 150-600 DG OS HSM S

        Always good to try something different and the second preset is the best for me as you've extracted more detail from the shadows - and more of the train

            Prefer the second as you have the additional interest with the sheep

                The second one works best for me, there is a better range of tones which makes the train stand out better.

                      For anyone that's interested The Scotsman still has two runs to do on 'The Waverley' on the 4th and 11th September .
                      The times for the York - Carlisle - York runs can be found HERE .
                      If you click on the train I.D. ( 1Z63 / 1Z64 ) it takes you through to http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk , on the day you can track it to see if it's running on time (all handy info !) .
