    Hay Bales II

Whilst out shooting for the NT at the Kingston Lacy estate at the weekend came across a couple of local fields with the hay bales. First a very wide shot with my 10-22 and then closer with my 40 f2.8

As Tom says both have different strengths.
But for me the second works better, I think it's the foreground interest.

Second one for me too Stan, prefer the viewpoint and composition over the first.

              Cheers guys

With this sort of shot, a wide angle lens is not always the best and my 24-105 was at home but luckily I had the 40 f2.8 in the bag

                    Re: Hay Bales II

Agree with the others Stan - number two for me. I like the way the tree canopy loses height from right to left and the right foreground interest from the largest bale balances it. Good one.

Number two here too. Greater emphasis on the subjects and the sky is stronger as well.
