Two for the price of one

A couple of images from a recent trip out. This time the "Upper" fall of a three drop waterfall. I've included two different exposures as one of them may be considered by some to be the work of the Devil or, possibly even worse than that "Marmite" even

I'm unsure of the name of this fall as there are a number of others in fairly close proximity. So I'll just say it is an Upper waterfall near Keld (I have the middle and Lower too), it could be either of these, Catrake Force, East Gill Force or Kisdon Force .

    1. Non Marmite

    _

    2. Marmite?

Both images are very strong Peter, both have their own merits. I like both images and it took me a while to decide the first image is my preference but that is not taking anything away from the other shot.
    Excellent work.

Both great shots Peter, but it has to be Marmite for me

Both are fine images, but the 2nd image gets my vote. Well done Peter

I'm not a huge fan of LE waterfall shots but I think no 2 is the better of these two. Very nice done.

The second has the edge for me.

The second for me too Peter - I much prefer a little movement in a waterfall. Due to the size of the images and my screen when the thread loaded the foreground rocks were out of shot. Although it's often good to have some interest in the foreground I actually prefer the 2nd image cropped without them.

Re: Two for the price of one

In my usual manner I'm going to be awkward because I like the the waterfall itself from number one but prefer the foreground from the second - in the first it's too fussy and sharp but is nicely smoothed out in the second so inevitably I played...

Thanks again everyone, I'm pleased you liked the second one. Now sometime I just need the post the middle and lower falls.
I had a near disaster at the lower one I too busy watching for fish attempting to get up them my right foot went in the water nearly followed by the rest of me and the camera [emoji15]
