    Base of the Burj

Going through some old shots. This is a 3 (I think) shot stitch of the base of the Burj, processed in LR & one of the Nik programs. Taken with a 50mm.

I like the conversion Wayne but was going to say it looked a bit odd with only a bit of the Burg in the frame....then I realised it was over 800 metres high....so you really needed to do a vertical pano

Ha, yeah. Cheers Stan. Correcting the verticals would be a nightmare. I've got a shot of it taken with a 17mm TSE and even with max shift there still wasn't enough space in the frame to get it all in or fully correct for the remaining correction in LR! It is a bonkersly enormous structure, even the buildings in this shot are quite large. Thanks for looking.

Stunning shot and I can forgive cropping the top of the tower off I would, however, have liked to see it in a higher resolution to appreciate the lovely detail that comes with pano stitches and must be there somewhere.

        Cheers,
        John

Cheers Guys. John the tiff is about 250Mb and the image approx 9000 x 3000. This one is a lot smaller because of Flickr.
