    Nice framing but, perhaps, a shame the top of the arch is cropped. Good control of shadows though

          Nicely captured Bill the bridge frames the Cathedral very well, as you don't have the bridge parapet in view I would crop down slightly just to lose the parapet top in the top left corner.
          Having the people in the image adds to it especially the chap taking a snap

            Agree with the others. Excellent shot but pity that part of the arch is cut off.

              Good composition and reflections through the arch. I don't think in this case it matters that the arch top is missing as I it looks like if it were in shot, the resulting background would detract from the shot

                Stan, your comment is spot on.
                If the full arch was in shot there would be a portion of sky above which would distract the eye away from the main subject. My idea at the time was to use the bridge purely as a natural frame.
