    My First A2A Photo Shoot!

    Hi All,

I finally got to do an A2A photography session on Sunday. Thanks to Classic Wings of Duxford for making everything possible.

Camera was a 1DX ii with a 24-70mm f2.8 lens.I have to admit it was very difficult shooting over my right shoulder. There's not much room in a Tiger Moth cockpit without a pro camera!

    Cheers,
    Neil

Wow what an experience it must have been.
Great shots to go with a great day.
You must be still on cloud 9.

Good fun isn't it and easier than folks think, though the 4th one I would clone out the bit of your wing as it distracts the eye, and it is a pity you didn't get the classic fighter peel i.e. the silver one above the other Yellow one, but it still looks way cool.

BTW you want to try doing it over your shoulder and through the little gap you get when you open the side window on a Cessna... LOL, it's even tighter

                      Hi All,

Thanks for the lovely comments. It was a fabulous flight - look forward to a few more.

Tony, I did clone out that bit of wing on the big version - forgot to do the smaller forum size pic - it was an after thought. We were also part of another photo shoot as well. That wasn't the full break and roll over, it was more of a re-positioning.

                      Cheers,
                      Neil

I figured that due to the camera pointing at your aircraft from the other one, was there someone in each one taking photos?
