    Physiogram

    Not done one of these for a few years so had a play yesterday

      no idea how its done though
      the basic concept is quite simple - a mag-lite solitaire torch hung from ceiling etc on a length of string. Start it swinging in a dark room and set camera to bulb and keep the shutter open for the number of revolutions you want - this was a 16 sec exposure

      and came out like this



      for the colour you can either put a gel over the torch or as I did, just change it in PS. Then to get the multiple effect out came the spiral action again

                  The basic one is really easy to do and depending how you start the swing you can get lots of different shapes
