Martin Mere WWT, Thursday 20th March

    Hi all

I'm going to have a road trip 16 - 21 March, with first few days travelling around the Lake District. On Thursday 20th March, I will be visiting Martin Mere WWT, just north of Liverpool.

If anyone is interested in meeting up, please feel free to either reply to this thread, or PM me! I know of 1 person who could be at Martin Mere with me already, but others are welcome too.

As I'm not sure what I'm doing and when in the Lake District, it would be more tricky to organise, but I'm open to offers!

Hotels are booked, time booked off work, wife has issued pass... So I'm definitely going, regardless of weather. (Wife was strangely happy for me to go!)

Will post best photos when I'm back south!

    Cheers all, Mike.

Mike, per my PM, Mickledore ,due to a morning's commitment, will be at the Visitor centre around 12 noon & thereafter.

Hope the weather keeps fine and you have a lovely time. Try to be there before 10am and ask the staff at the visitor centre to direct you to the hide where you can see all the wild birds being fed. The Asian otters are fed around 3pm.

I am very sorry I cannot be there on the 20th due my son's birthday and I am taking charge of my grand children for the day, so that he & his can go out for the day.
