Service temporarily unavailable

I do not know whether other members have experienced this problem. I have found that soon after I have successfully posted some images, I find I cannot post other images on another thread,without getting the message "service temorarily unavailable- due to downtime,capacity problems. Please try again" or something to that effect.

I am wondering whether members are being "rationed" to how many photos they can post or how many threads they can start.

What are other members experience?

I haven't experienced that one, I've had the 503 error, but not recently.

No, there is no rationing, the forum rarely experiences downtime and there is plenty of room for images (especially as most images are linked from other sites). This looks like a variation on the 503 error - which is still a mystery.

It is because of this problem that I very often upload photos bit by bit and checking to see whether I get the Service temporarily unavailable prompt. I am always wary of uploading say 4 or 5 pics at one "go" in case I get this prompt, which means I have to go back to sqaure one again.

I just had the 'Service not available' message... but I immediately pressed the 'Submit this post' button, and it worked straight away! Did you try actually posting, or did you stop at the message?

Mike, Nat and Robert this was the problem that prevented me posting any images last night dont know what it was I put it down to a capacity problem of either the server or network link at the hosting facility.

I think that was the message i got the other day with the 503 problem - I think it is the same or a variation

Been getting service unavailable all afternoon whilst trying to upload a new thread.
