Various changes to the forum have been made to try and reduce the number of 503 error messages occurring when posting image links.

If you regularly encountered 503 error messages, but can now post images without any problems, please let me know by posting details here.

If you are still encountering frequent 503 error messages, please also post here.

Seems OK at the moment from farm5 on Flickr and my own server.

Logged out of Flickr (Farm5) and tried reconnecting several times until I connected to farm9.

The error has re-appeared.

I have just posted a new thread in specialist subjects and when previewing got the 503 so just thought I would then try submit and it loaded OK

Hello Robert.
Just letting you know that I am now seeing a lot of adverts on peoples posts when I hover my curser over red writing in their posts.
Should this be happening or has it something to do with the cause of 503 errors.

Robert I don't know how to create links but Stan has commented on my Singing Chaffinch image and the word background is red and underlined when I hover over this it wants me to enter a competition to win an IPAD.
I am assuming this is a scam.

Ps I a currently running a full system scan with Norton 360
PPS when I previewed this message the words competition scam and Norton 360 are red and underlined.

No, no link in the word 'background' for me. Alan, that could be caused by something in your browser.

This is very weird tonight I have done a full system scan with Norton 360 and it removed 10 tracking cookies,when I view the eos forum all is ok until I log in then other members posts have certain words in red and underlined (not just Stans post).when moving curser over these words it asks me if I want to enter competitions.
I DO NOT want to give up this Forum but this is causing me some concern.
