Is it possible to have a Gear List link in your Signature box, Instead of seen all your gear written in the Signature,

Cant see the point in putting all my gear in my signature..what purpose is it for?.... except for maybe showing off on the gear you have,

You have got me wrong, if you look at my signature I have written all my gear, I wanted to know if you could add a link to the Gear List so when other members look at your threads or reply, they only click on the Gear List link in the signature, that will show all your gear, instead of seen all camera and lenses written out in the signature. The purpose is not to show off, your gear in fact some member like to PM or email you and ask questions on the lens you use.

by adding something like this in your signature box looks better IMO

Take a look at the section on URL Hyperlinking on this help page. I don't see why you can't add a link in your signature that way.

First I need to start a thread called "The -=Official=- gear-list / Sig thread" then you add your gear link to this thread using this code url="Paste link here"]Gear List[/url in your signature. But Peter needs to add a code to each reply member in the upper right hand corner of there post is a number from #1, #2, #3 and so on... so when you click on the member Gear List link it don't show all the other members gear list. So without Peter I can't do it.



Btw I took out the [........] to show the code that is needed.
