            The old server has been decommissioned and the new server is now doing everything - so far so good all looks ok load wise.

            Apparently this specification of server should be able to cope with 700-900 sites (with more file storage) - so it should cope with the 3 it has with no problem.

                Still waiting for a key security plugin to be updated so it works properly with this version of vBulletin - once that is sorted and is stable for a few weeks I will look at installing Tapatalk. Installing Tapatalk without the anti-spam plugin could potentially cause chaos and flood the forums with spam, as Tapatalk users bypass several systems. Now the server is stable they hope to fix the compatibility issue sometime next week.
