My mail box not receiving mail

I’ve received a post from a member saying that they tried to send me a PM, but they are told I’m not receiving them. (See below message).
please can you check and correct as needed?
have I accidentally changed a setting?

Rose, perhaps your mail box is full, you may need to clear it - just a thought
