    Challenge 118 "Depth of Field"

Hello everyone, here's your next challenge should you wish to take it; I really hope you do so.

The challenge starts immediately and finishes at Midnight on Sunday June 26th, 2016. That gives everyone time to consider their option with three weekends included to get motivated to create an image for the challenge, hopefully this includes sufficient time to do any processing and enter this challenge.

The challenge is your take on “Depth of Field” which I hope allows you to create a photo of something that clearly shows the DOF effect. I hope that this gives people plenty of opportunity to find their subject and create an image that fits the requirement of this challenge.

    The standard competition rules apply:

    • The competition subject shall be selected by the winner of the preceding competition who will also judge the competition.
    • One picture per person; images should conform to general image posting rules.
    • Please use a Canon DSLR.
    • Posted images should be taken during the running period of the competition. Any images submitted that were taken before the competition started, or after the competition has ended, will be deemed invalid.
    • Images 800 pixels widest max (to help those with small monitors).
    • No Photoshop frames and borders.
    • Include a title; the image must convey the theme without title description.
    • Please, no comments, on images until the round is over.
    • No canvassing e.g. “I’m thinking of posting this image for the challenge, what do you think?”
    • I will pick 1st 2nd and 3rd favourite images (please don’t PM me to discuss my choices).

I like previous members will do my best to give an honest assessment of every entry. However I am not a judge and my assessments can only ever be my personal views of each of the entries.

So Ladies and Gentlemen get your thinking caps and produce some interesting takes on Depth of Field but most importantly stretch yourself and enjoy the challenge.
    Peter

Well, I reckoned there might be a few people out with their nifty fifties taking pictures of flowers for this, so thought I'd get my one in quick:

Peter.... Can't see any reason why you cannot see my image. Now sitting with iPad at Gatwick and it is viewing on it ok. Not sure if I can transfer it again from Flickr using my limited iPad skills

                          Nope can't paste it.

Hope it has returned to your screen!

Hello everyone I'm not sure why both Barbara and Richards entries weren't visible to me. However due to those issues and as the BBC may say "circumstances beyond our control" ( read it's our 45th wedding Anniversary on the 26th) I've made an executive decision to extend the challenge closing date by twenty four hours. Revised end date twenty four hundred hours on 27th June.
