    R5 file saving

I have just bought an R5 and am wanting to know if I can save a raw file to the cfexpress and the jpg of the same image to the other card like I can do on the 1Dx3.
Any help would be great as it looks as if I can split it only if its raw to the cfexpress and video to the smaller card
thanks in advance for any answers

Funny enough I was only looking at this myself last night. I don’t think you can, but no doubt one of the boffins on here will know for sure.

I've just been to take of grand daughters first birthday to find that when i'm looking at the sd card it has jpgs of my shots. I think I set thw camera to 'record separately.' under the spanner item 1.
All i need now is to see if I can set the size of jpg as on the 1Dx3 :)

Next question is regarding batteries. Canon LP-E6NH approx £110 Duracell LP-E6NH from Duracell Direct are £44 with an offer at present of 'buy one get second half price'. Has anyone used these or can recommend other good ones

Re saving files you are right. I’m not one that goes through the menu very often, just sitting last night wondering what some were for, or if I would ever use them
