I could not find any guide to posting photos here via 500px. Can none point me in the right direction, please.

If you select the embed button at the bottom right hand corner on 500px, grab the code and past it into the reply between the [code] tags or [html] tags (cant verify as the forum is broken at the moment)

Hi Hugh,
Thank you for that nice complement. I think the truth is that nearly all the people on this forum really enjoy seeing other people's work, what ever the ability, equipment (as long as it EOS) or quirky interests. I just love looking at other people's work - it fires my interests, makes me think about what I'm doing and why etc.
So to cut a long story short - yes, would very much like to see what you do and don't be afraid to post stuff up.

I have been searching for a posting by Muscat where he explained in detail hot to post pics from 500px onto this forum but I can't find it anywhere. Perhaps you could try sending him a PM to see if he could post the instructions to you ! He is one hell of a knowledgable as well as helpful guy.

How to post from 500px

Open your picture in 500px and in the bottom right hand corner click on the button labelled ‘Embed’

This will open a second window in which there is the code that you want to copy, simply highlight all the code. I then drop it into a word document or similar as I find it easier to make the minor edits needed and then copy the document straight into the EOS post.

This is a sample of the sort of code that you will copy. Please note that I have substituted XXXX for the http in the code as the EOS forum tries to post the image if i don’t do this and you can not see the code string which needs to be amended.

Now change the highlighted items above in blue to [IMG] and the text highlighted in red to read [/IMG]

The final string should look like the one below
[IMG]XXXX://pcdn.500px.net/20586125/4629165c62400d46f78d2644123e63dd0ae26db1/4.jpg[/IMG]

Simply copy this string and add it to your EOS post, to check that all is OK in the EOS post click on the Preview Post or Go Advanced button and you should see the image from 500px.
