    Scanner Probs

My scanner N1240U worked fine on XP. Now running Windows 7 Home Premium and cannot get it to scan. Device is recognised in Device Manager as working correctly and driver is up to date. software installed ok, although scanner is not recognised in the toolbox settings :-( . hit the scan button and get error message 'WIA Driver needed'. What is this please , and where can I get it ?. Contacted Canon uk waiting for a reply.

Are you trying to scan into Photoshop CS6? If you are you need an additional driver from Adobe, it was removed IIRC from CS6 and is now an addon.

Thanks for the replies, but Canon tell me they have not updated the driver, and the N1240U only works up to Win Vista. Have now purchased a used one from Ebay that is compatible with Win 7.
