I am a very naughty boy.

I feel I must apologise for my absence. Life, work, life and no real time for myself.

I must admit I forgot how great this forum is, so I would like to be allowed to come back into the fold.

Hopefully I will have a bit more time soon, work is settling down and having just bought a new (to me) 80D and a couple of lenses I will be forced out to use them. Unfortunately for you it means I may be posting more pictures!!

No apology needed a few of us have been through the same experience. Speaking for myself I lost interest is most things and only photographing the local kestrels got me going again.

Thank you. Going to keep the 60D as a second body, couldn't really justify a 90D (yet!!)..

My reason for getting the new kit was to get into a little wildlife photography. Work colleague showed me some kingfisher photos at a local hide, although £240 for me and the better half for a day seems a bit steep.

I would suggest a little field work, I'm sure the hide is not the only place the kingfishers appear, they usually got their favourite perches along a river section or pond

Whilst I've got other kit a 60D was my choice when getting back into photography a while ago after a break of many years. Still use it from time to time even now.
