Didn't know you were a Simon & Garfunkel fan! Can't argue with your scores, though I always quite liked 'Hazy Shade of Winter'.
Just a bit of fun !!

MInd you, I think most of us over "a certain age" have soft spot for at least one S&G number .

Ok everyone thanks for entering and voting. The competition is now closed and I'll get my counting hat on

Voting is now on for the EOS Showcase Final and there are 2 front runners and a strong field behind.

    Your vote matters!!!!

There have been very few voters apart from the contestants, a situation that it is very disappointing.

I see on this forum many posts from many familiar names who appear on here regularly and who invite and expect a response from others. Many of you for whatever reason have chosen not to enter, some of you have:- your choice of course.

But I’d love more of you to take a few moments to pass judgement ( anonymously!) on your fellow members’ work and help celebrate the very best images of 2019 by our Forum Members

Closing date for your vote is midnight Wednesday 29th January - so you have time for your vote to make a difference

Further details including links to the website, can be found in the dedicated EOS Showcase 2019 spot to be found at the end of the EOS Photography section

    VOTING

    1. All registered members of the EOS forum are welcome to vote, regardless of how many posts you may have made
    2. All those who have submitted entries MUST vote within the time allotted otherwise your entry(ies) will be disqualified.
    3. Those who submitted entries may NOT vote for their own photo.
    4. I will acknowledge your vote by email.
    5. Votes will be accepted up to midnight on Wednesday 29th January – so you have a week to vote- and I aim to announce the results over the weekend 31st January-2nd February.
    6. Any votes received after the deadline will not be counted.
    7. By voting you accept to abide by the rules and spirit of this competition, and acknowledge that the decision of the challenge organiser is final.

    HOW TO VOTE

    • Put these into order, your absolute best in first place to merely super at ninth place

    • Send your votes by email only, please, to charlieshowcase19@gmail.com

    Hello Frederick

Entries close end of this weekend 19th and we then aim to have 2 days to get the images up and running on the forum and on Peter's website plus invite entrants to let me know if anything is incorrect.

Voting starts Thursday 23rd Jan and runs for one week

Winners (category runners up, category winners, and then overall winner and runner up ) will be posted on here during the weekend Friday 31st Jan to February 2nd, in tantalising reverse order...

That's the plan and I will aim to stick to this barring major mishap

Everyone who has entered so far has been acknowledged by return email - so if you have sent something and not heard back from me then it's whizzing somewhere in hyperspace .....
