Monthly Theme for July - Flowers

That’s a very striking image Doug, good to see. Being predominantly red does make getting the exposure correct quite tricky. I think that a little more depth of field would have been nice but not having it Is no great detriment.

To me this pic also has a distinct 3D appearance on my iPad, it’s something that I see frequently when there is red in a pic; don’t know why but the red always appears to be far away with other colour closer.

The monthly theme for July is now closed and many thanks to all those who contributed, your support is appreciated.

As this was so well supported I’ll set a new theme for August later today if everyone is happy for me to do so. I do have an idea of what it is going to be but if there is a consensus for particular theme you would all like then I’m happy to go with that; let me know.
