Monthly Theme for September - September

The theme for September is September. This is a month of transition with the equinox signifying a significant change in the seasons wherever in the world you are. While the northern hemisphere is going into autumn the southern is going into spring giving contrasting views. So I’m looking for pictures that reflect this or show what September means to you wherever you happen to be in the world.

    The basics :
    • This is not a competition, it's purely for fun
    • All photos should be your own and be taken within the month of the chosen theme
    • You can post as many photos as you wish
    • Comments on submitted photos are welcome
    • Please include the exif details (these may be helpful to other members)
    • All entries to be shot with a Canon EOS camera i.e. SLR / DSLR / M & R series
    • The chosen theme, should be as inclusive as possible
I look forward to seeing your entries!

And that certainly is an (almost) empty beach Rose, looks like those two have it just about to themselves!

        Leaves in Transition

One of our trees in the garden that definitely prefers the warmer weather has started to change to its autumn colours which are always spectacular, these pics were taken in the sunshine at the beginning of the week.

That’s a very craggy rock face Douglas! Looks like the tree is holding on my the skin of its teeth.
