I accidentally knocked it off the shelf, so saved it for a Camera Club ZOOM competition on the subject Broken. I have a good selection of little people now, good stocking fillers!

Okay, so I have played around with the image I originally posted - see what you think...
for me, bubbles 2 looks better, I think I have zoomed in too far on bubbles 3 and it takes it out of focus.

Well done, Bubbles are invariably interesting to photograph, they’re even better with coloured reflections as you have captured but they are very tricky to get right!

Great idea BobSapey, I’ll try that this evening and may post that as a second pic. I’ve just tried enlarging the pic as posted and the biggest bubble looks like it has something from Alien lurking inside!

That’s different Doug, what’s a whistling thorn?

It's a species of Acacia, found on the plains. As the wind blows through the branches it whistles.
