That’s a good pic Gary, like the detail in the ice crystals. It works well how you have composed it.

The Theme for January is Close-up

The theme for January is close-up as I suspect that a lot of us will be stuck at home with the ongoing pandemic situation and this should enable you to find something about the house or garden to take. This can be of anything at all, your own choice, to give you the most scope to find something. In addition to straight close ups perhaps consider close ups with unusual perspectives or angles.
I do appreciate that not everyone will have a macro lense or one with that facility but this is not an essential requirement, use whatever you have (eg you could use a telephoto lense instead and this can be an advantage sometimes).
Look forward to seeing your entries!

    The basics :
    • This is not a competition, it's purely for fun.
    • All photos should be your own and be taken within the month of the chosen theme.
    • You can post as many photos as you wish.
    • Comments on submitted photos are welcome.
    • Please include the exif details (these may be helpful to other members).
    • All entries to be shot with a Canon EOS camera i.e. SLR / DSLR / M & R series.
    • The chosen theme, should be as inclusive as possible.
