The theme for April is Gardens

The theme for April is Gardens. Any garden pic from any garden at all, it might be yours, one that you may visit, see on your walks, public etc.. It could be the borders, the colours, the plants, any architecture, sculptures in them, activities going on them, macro, wide angle; anything at all that takes your fancy or epitomises the garden to you.

I Look forward to seeing some interesting pics!

That is a lovely pic Douglas, very rich colours and tricky to get right too. Super.

That’s a lovely colour for the tulip, the focus is perhaps a tad soft? Nice pic though
A newly planted plot and it doesn’t look at all bad for a construction site, a lot better than your average one! What’s left to do?

The tulip was blowing in the breeze, I do not have a clamp hence the focus!
For the rest, a rope top border with coloured chippings and new drive gates, I know in my mind the final effect I would like to see but it remains to be seen if the actual and ‘virtual’ match!

An area of my garden known as the Scrub - a low maintenance section of the garden, where every six or seven years I either burn it or flail it. Its prime purpose being to support wildlife.

I prefer your garden to mine - better at supporting wildlife. Think I’d struggle to get a similar look in my front garden!

Great idea Trev, looks excellent, it wouldn’t fit in my back garden either, no space in a town garden. I do have four trees though that helps a bit.

I'm going to show my ignorance - as far as I know they're the same species, but don't rely on me - to me they're just flowers - possibly primroses?
