    Theme for May :- Architecture

I have quite a different theme for May, Architecture. In this I include anything built or constructed, buildings and monuments; any views of these that appeals to give your artistic eye full rein!

    The basics :

This is not a competition, it's purely for fun.
All photos should be your own and be taken within the month of the chosen theme.
You can post as many photos as you wish.
Comments on submitted photos are welcome.
Please include the exif details (these may be helpful to other members).
All entries to be shot with a Canon EOS camera i.e. SLR / DSLR / M & R series.
The chosen theme, should be as inclusive as possible.

I look forward to seeing your entries!

That church really stands out in the landscape, works very well in black and white especially with the grey sky. Nice pic.

Great pics John, I like the building design of the history centre.

              Lumley Mill House
              by Nigel Hayes, on Flickr

This is not the actual mill house, that burned down early last century, but belonged to the owners of the mill. I guess they must have been rather successful at milling...

A nice pic of a different building, especially at 10mm!

It is also a very unusually designed building, makes you wonder why it is like it is, seems like there may be a tale there. Not a place I had heard of, looks like it might be worth a visit at sometime. Good to see.

Had a trip to the seafront today in light of the fine weather. Wanted to try out my new battery grip and to give the TS-E lense an outing (and to contribute to the architecture theme)
