The theme for January is Close-Up.
It can be of absolutely anything that takes your fancy, whatever appeals to you, the essential aspect is that it is a close up shot of it. I am intentionally not using the term macro because not everyone has a macro lense but that is not necessarily an impediment, other lenses do do close work and there are other means to achieve it.
Outdoor activity may well be more curtailed in Jan (at least in the northern hemisphere) for a variety of reasons so this theme should give you an opportunity to find something in the house if that is the case. You never know, you may find the article in this months EOS mag about lighting close up shots helpful.

This is not a competition, it's purely for fun.

- You can post as many photos as you wish.
- Comments on submitted photos are welcome.
- Please include the exif details (these may be helpful to other members).
- All entries to be shot with a Canon EOS camera i.e. SLR / DSLR / M & R series.
- The chosen theme, should be as inclusive as possible.
