    WIRELESS REMOTE FOR SHUTTER RELEASE

HI EVERYBODY……..I'VE SPENT THAT MUCH OF MY KIDS INHERITANCE ON KIT THAT I WOULD LOVE TO BUY A CHEAP BUT EFFECTIVE REMOTE WIRELESS RELEASE. I WENT ON A SHOOT LAST WEEK WHERE I NEEDED ONE AND CAME UP SHORT. IT WASN'T A CHEAP DAY OUT SO I DON'T WANT TO GET CAUGHT OUT AGAIN.SOME POPLE SEEM TO HAVE THEM AND THEY ALWAYS TELL ME THERE FROM CHINA WITHOUT NAMING NAMES OR WHERE THEY GOT THEM ROM. I NEED A PAIR THAT WILL WORK WITH A 1DX AND A 5D MARK3.
    YOUR ADVICE WILL BE APPRECIATED.

I use the Canon Remote wireless app via my mobile phone.
    Works a treat.

If you just want a cheap remote thete are plenty (Yongnuo is one common make) but the one I tried wouldn't allow a bulb exposure.

Later bought a Hahnel Giga Pro T which works really well.

      Not exactly cheap, about £60.

Just started playing with the camranger. So far it works with my canon 5D MkII and the 100D. From my iPad and Mac, I have full control of the cameras. I can also focus stack as well as setup HDR shots from within the apps. It is also wireless and very easy to setup.

Here are some images for the CamRanger:

                      Attached to the Camera

This wireless remote is powered by it's own battery, and you can use Android or IOS, Windows or MAC PC to have complete Wireless Control over your camera. You can do anything in the app that you can on the camera, plus additional features. It provides a separate app that can share your CamRanger Connection for others to view the images you take, or you can give your tablet or phone to a person and they can see the images that you take.
