Just thought I'd say hello to one and all. Just upgraded from a SX50HS to a EOS 700d. Didn't fancy the standard 18-55mm lens so bought body only and a separate Canon 18-200mm IS lens. Definitely no regrets.....just can't believe difference in the quality. Looking forward to seeing all your photos so I know what to aim for.

Was going to call you Berko but perhaps Ron is better. Welcome to the forum!
I too have the Canon 18-200 IS on a similar crop (650D) and love as my walk-around lens. Brilliant for going on holiday too,seems to cover all eventualities. Mind you it gets a fair amount of stick in reviews for being less than perfect at extremities.
