    Hi there from Guntackle

Hi there time to briefly introduce myself. My handle gives a small clue as to my origins as a sailor and love of the sea which is equally matched by the love of travel. My travels have been slightly curtailed recently for family reasons. I have sailed in various places including the South Pacific, Mediterranean and of course the south coast of England. My photography has won me several small prizes although they mainly have seemed to be based on the travel theme... I wonder why? I have tried various forms of photography from architecture to Macro to landscape. I have tried my hand at wedding photography with some success but in all of this it remains a hobby.

Go to the Forum tab to find the section for your picture, there is a large choice. For example, the latest challenge is under Forum Photo Challenge and its No.157. Open the thread you want and there is a box at the bottom for reply to thread. Paste your text and link in there then Post Quick Reply.

Not in the Royal Navy, but what I did saw me working very close with them - they were our means of transport!
Still very much involved from a photographic angle.
