Hello everyone,
I just joined up today. I've been a Canon shooter since the late 1990s, and currently, I'm shooting with two Canon R5's, and a big mix of EF and RF lenses. I love travel photography, as well as available-light portraiture and I love taking flashed portraits with studio lighting, and Canon E-TTL flashing. I prefer the fastest glass available for the mount, as I am a bokeh whore.
Although I have been shooting for decades, I consider myself first, and foremost a camera operator (sadly), and I know how to use and set up the camera and kit like a pro, however, my challenge is composition. For me, composing is the hardest part of photography. Still, on rare occasions, I do get lucky and I occasionally produce art.
So yes, I appear to have more money than skill, but maybe one day I will raise my photography to a higher level. Until, then I love buying the latest RF bodies, and lenses...handling them is a fetish, and I cannot help myself.
So I'm here to learn from you, discuss, and exchange ideas and opinions.
Best regards,
Dan
