Hi Everyone.
I'm Ted, and, though originally from the U.S., I now make my home in Wiang Sa, Surat Thani, with my lovely wife, Kwanchai (who is Thai). We are about 685 km south of Bangkok.
I decided to take my photography to the next level this fall, and upgraded from my trusty point-and-shoot Nikon Coolpix L820 (not a bad little camera for its limitations).
I am now the proud owner of a Canon EOS 6D Mark II. I had considered a mirrorless (yes, it is the latest), but at heart I'm am geo-location kind of guy, and I was attracted to the 6D Mark II's built-in GPS.
I'm looking forward to learning new skills, mastering this marvelous technology, and ultimately being on the production of side of the photos about which I've always said "Wow! How'd they do that? Wish I could!"
Thanks!
