    Strange times.......

    ..... are upon us!

    I was collecting some apples this afternoon (it's cider-making time) and I spotted these high up in the Bramley - flowers in September!?!

    As you say 'Strange Times' in more ways than one. Well captured, perhaps early blossom for next year!

      perhaps it's a Kenyan tree, My apple tree has blossoms at the moment....Nice capture.

        Not so strange as one might think. Second flushes of leaves and/or blossoming are not uncommon and may be related to some kind of stress perhaps from lack of water at a particular time in the growth period or damage to leaves by insects or disease. Looking at the leaves in the picture some kind of stress appears evident.
        Makes it a very interesting picture for a retired forester.
