    Gnomes

The wife decided she wanted her garden Gnomes to have a facelift - a spruce up. They live in her little garden by the water fall in the yard, Its her pride and joy. Completely out of bounds to the deer and rabbits - and Me!
The last few nights I have sat re-painting them, never realised how difficult it was to mix paint to get a flesh colour.
They originally came from Dartmoor where no doubt you are aware there is a thriving population at a secret location
You can now see what a sad life I live

The refurbished Gnomes - L-R, Scrumpy, Lazy, Guntastarven, Pritchard, Minstrel.

Many thanks to everyone for looking and your comments. Our family of gnomes are now back living in the garden.

If anyone is under any doubt about there being a small population of Gnomes living on Dartmoor and think I may be 'having you on'.
Let me tell you about a campaign they organised a few years back with the Post Office.
They found it very difficult to post letters in some of the rural post boxes, either having to stand on each other shoulders or take a ladder with them to reach the letter box.
They needed the Letter Boxes to be lower, after a very successful campaign, the Post Office gave in to their demands and lowered a number of Letter Boxes.

              Here is one
