    January to March 2014

My printed copy arrived this morning.

Looks like some interesting articles on macro and lighting for macro (very useful for me as I hope to do more of this in 2014), as well as taking pix in and of snow. Some technical stuff on EF-S lenses and on noise levels too.
So will put the laptop down now and get reading

Click, Clunk my EOS Magazine through the letter flap in the front door and onto the mat where it lay for about 30 seconds.
Will be read while watching the Rugby this afternoon and whilst keeping my feet in the air so that the room can be vacuumed, but not by me. Oh well more cold shoulder.

        Looks like a good one......
Have been trying to puzzle out a few DPP related things and they seem to be answered for me, and the macro/flash stuff looks good.
Thanks to all the writers and production team.
        Cheers, Chris.
        Just chuggin' along.

I normally read the print off mine as soon as it comes through the letter box, but after forgetting our wedding anniversary, I am trying really hard to get back in to Mrs C's good books.

She commented on the state of the garden during the week, so I have spent all morning gardening and EOS mag is unopened as yet. I'll have a quick look while she is shopping this afternoon.

Mine dropped on the mat and after a quick skim, doing a little more in depth reading. May have a go at the multiple image trick in DPP. but that's probably for later, just got up to the macro lighting section.

Quick question Robert. Do you email when the subscription is due?

I had a quick flick through it this morning.
This probably explains why I'm knackered tonight (nightshift again)

I'm sure I read that the mag is in its 21st year however I was half asleep when I read it - or I could have been dreaming.

I haven't subscribed from #1 but I did have the full collection, until I passed on my collection to a younger member; who now subscribes. I find that the digital editions are all I need to keep and I pass on the paper copies to other local EOS users.

Usually a letter, unless you have set up a Direct Debit (which gives you a £5 discount for the time and money saved).

I have now gone through my current magazine and I must give a big thumbs up to the article on "Noise". Very informative. Also the one on EF-S Lenses.
