    Italian Chapel.

A couple of the Italian Chapel on Orkney. This was built by Italian prisoners of war from whatever they could lay hands on. Amazing craftsmanship!

Like them Alistair, seem to remember it was vandalised last year, but is now back to how it was.

It a absolutely beautiful. Last time we stayed on Orkney, some 30+ years ago we stayed just other side of water from here. Saw a piper playing at sunset one day, nice moment.

Very sad to hear of vandalism, don't understand. Anyway nice images and a nice reminder of this beautiful place.

Hadn't heard about the vandalism. I just don't understand why anyone could destroy something like this. Lowlife indeed! Thank you for the nice comments.
