    Art Deco symmetry

One of my favourite buildings in Perth. Originally it was a printers work shop and offices.

    Nice photos.

    The building looks really old.

Nice photo. Have you thought about making a panorama from the first three?

Thanks Colin, the building was built in the late 1920's
Thanks Chris, I never considered that until you mentioned it. I will return to the building and try it.

They don’t build like that nowadays, I marvel at the skills of the bricklayers and carpenters who created all of those curves/circles/arches, not forgetting the architect who designed it in the first place.
Then to see the more recent change, carried out with little consideration to the original style as shown in your third image. Rough and ready springs to mind.
You've documented the architecture very well Gary

A great set Gary, fully agree they don't come like that now. I always think when I'm in old buildings, just how did they build this. They had no power tools, cement mixers, cranes etc.

Fantastic images of a great looking building.

A square/rectangular window would have done but some nice design was employed.

Always like walking round city/towns and spotting some of the excellent architecture.
